Editorial Standards
InfoWok publishes technical content that people rely on to make real decisions and write real code. This page explains the standards we hold our content to, so you know what to expect — and how to hold us accountable.
Editorial process
Every article is written by a named author with relevant experience in the subject. Articles are drafted, reviewed for technical accuracy and clarity, and edited before publication. We prioritise depth and correctness over publishing frequency.
Research & fact-checking
- Technical claims are verified against primary sources — official documentation, specifications, and reputable references — rather than second-hand summaries.
- Code examples are tested where practical, and we note the versions of tools and libraries used so readers can reproduce results.
- Where an article draws on external sources, those sources are cited in a References section at the end of the article.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to assist with parts of our workflow — for example, research, outlining, and drafting support. AI is a tool, not an author: every published article is reviewed, fact-checked, and edited by a human who takes responsibility for its accuracy. We do not publish unreviewed AI-generated text, and we do not present AI as a human expert.
Updates & corrections
Technology changes quickly, and so do our articles. When we make a meaningful update, the article's "last updated" date reflects it. If you spot an error, please tell us — we correct mistakes promptly and transparently. Report issues through our contact page or at queries@infowok.com.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made independently of advertising. Where content is sponsored or contains affiliate links, we disclose it clearly within the article.
